I have tried and tried to crop some of my pics. Every time I manage to crop what I don't want, it leaves a black bar in place of what I cropped. How on earth do I get rid of it, and leave just the pic, no black bars?

I couldn't duplicate your problem -- just how are you trying to crop the images?

The way I cropimages in irfanview is to select the area I want to crop down to and select "Crop Selection" from the Edit menu (Control-Y)

It is a great program, and the only one we use.............

If you are cropping, you are isolating a section of an image that you wish to keep, the rest will vanish............

For you to get that result you must instead be cutting, which will leave a bar............

If your still stuck send through the image, before and after to us and we will fix it and then let you know what you need to do to fix the problem in future........

Enjoy the program though and don't be turned off it, IMHO it is by far the best peice of non mainstream freeware on the net..........

For typical "Meat Loaf" songs, it HAS to be "Bat out of Hell". But there are 2 others that move me equally, they are "For crying out loud", and "Heaven can wait".

But nothing revs me up like "Paradise by the Dashboard Light".

I like your taste in the Meat Loaf songs. Paradise by the Dashboard Light is one of my all time favorites and it use to be my sig line here.
