I assume that you are fooling around and not serious. Boston along with so many other places in New England is named after the original town of Boston in Lincolnshire, England.

Yes of course it was named for and English place but culturally it became Irish. Boston had such large population that I once met a mission priest born here before WWIi who had a brough.

Yes, indeed. Even Plymouth, MA has a very large Irish population.
