iPod Help

When I plug my iPod into my computer, iTunes locks it so I can't transfer any of the music from my library into my iPod and I can't delete any songs from my iPod either. How do I fix this? I tried Apple's website, and of course they have no phone number, so I have no clue as to what to do.

Try uninstalling itunes then re install, if that fails try restoring the ipod to its factory settings.

I had a similar problem, that turned into a worse problem, that turned out to be a defective hard drive (on the iPod, not my computer). You might want to stop by an Apple Store and have the tech guys look at it.
