iPHone 5

I think Samsung's commercials re: Apple's new iPhone are fucking hilarious.
 
Samsung is the best.

They take a licking and keep on ticking.......wait....someone used that slogan already.

I waited through the 4/4S and upgraded from my 3GS. It has been a solid phone & I don't always need the newest tech.

That being said, I love it!! The speed is 4x what my 3GS was due to the chip & RAM upgrades. The 4G connections are great and even better coverage than 3G. The camera is a major upgrade and the screen is amazingly clear. All of this was expected coming from a 3GS. My iPhone5 running 4G is almost as fast as my 3GS on wifi and again 4x as fast on wifi. I ran speed tests with them sitting next to each other.

If you have a 4 or 4S, it would be a tough call with the expense in today's economy, but from a 3GS or older Droid, it is well worth it. If you are a Droid fan, and running an older model, I have also heard great things about the Galaxy 3.

I'm loving my 4S and have no real reason to bump to a 5, but I would kill for a 4G connection. The infrequent lag times press me to no end.

Assuming my phone doesn't break or gets lost — and I keep it close to my cock in the pocket at all times when it's not in my hand, no joke — I'll wait for the iPhone 6 in another year.
 
Thinking about it, I use a Blackberry bold 9900 for work and am not sure I can ever get used to a touch keyboard.

Apple and Samsung have most notably been locking horns in courtrooms all over the world, with lawsuits and countersuits in Australia, France, the United States, the United Kingdom, South Korea, Japan and elsewhere.
 
I tried it this weekend. It's pretty meh. Quality, but meh. Nothing about the iPhone stands out as exceptional anymore.

Mostly due to the fact that everyone is busy trying to copy Apple. By everyone I mean Samsung, Motorola and Nokia. They are also claiming that their hardware is better when in fact it is not. Samsung uses cheap plastic parts in all its cell phones. Motorola phones are unnecessarily heavy.

I haven't used any Nokia phones yet, so cannot comment on their build and make. Lets face it, apple does truly have the best hardware.

In conclusion, I am looking forward to getting the new iPhone 5.

What do you mean by hardware? Chassi, buttons and stuff? Then yes, iPhone has among the best, if not the best. The new Nokia phones are the only ones matching it. HTC is also good. Samsung is, well, meh.

If you mean computing performance, iPhone 5 is not even close to best. The top offerings from LG, HTC asnd Samsung spanks it's ass. Demonstrably.

If you mean screen resolution, size and quality, again no. Iphone 4 when it came out was far beyond anything else on the market, but that was long ago and these days the competitors have equal, sometimes better screens.

If you mean camera, you have three that pretty much produce the same quality, the HTC One X, the iPhone 5 and the Sony Xperia S. But due to superior computing power, the HTC can do burst photography, post processing and multitasking on a level the other two can't.

If you mean connectivity, it seems Apple are playing catchup. And their LTE doesn't work in Europe. Not a big deal for you, but a big deal for a 400 million heads strong market.

Apple's real advantage is not hardware, it's software. (It's also where the make all that damn money that have made them the top corporation in the world.) IOS 6 is, even with the embarrassing maps fail, the bee's knees when it comes to a mobile platform and interface and it still has the edge when it comes to cool apps.

I like Apple, they make very good products. But let's be real.
 
I'm not really a big fan of Apple products.
I know I shouldn't make a judgement call on something I haven't owned, but I did own the original iPhone.
And it really let me down.
I'm sure the reason they're releasing new ones is to correct the problems with the old ones, and increase the screen size, processor, and things like that, but their original turned me off to the product as a whole, and I doubt there's much they could do to get my business back.
 
I have a Samsung Galaxy and love it.

The new Iphone maps suck so bad they had to apologize for it.
 
I really love my 4S and don't really see a need for change right now. Since I use it for business as well it's well worth the money. The rest can pretend to be apple though it's just never quite as good. Since someone mentioned their iphone letting them down I say bullshit. No warranty is as good as theirs. They repair and replace like no one else does.

Eventually I will get the 5 though it seems like this phone is so new. I will give it some time. Loving the new software update. Awesome.
