Ionic Hair Dryers

Ok...so I bought one of these yesterday. It did nothing for the static electricity and fly away hair BUT...

The motor is MUCH quieter than my other hair dryer. That claim is true.

It does dry my hair MUCH faster than my other one did. Also another true claim. (I have very thick hair...hard to dry)

I'd give it an 8 out of a possible 10 points.

I wondered about those.

When I replaced my hair dryer a few months ago, the ionic ones were a few bucks more and I wasn't sure if they were worth it.

I have one. It works great on my hair, which is fine and prone to little flyaways on top. The ionic dryer calmed them down quite a bit. And it is quieter. I also bought it because it was dual voltage, but that doesn't matter to most.

Never heard of these. While my hair is very fine and blow away, I just don't have enough of it to justify any kind of hair dryer - I wish I did.
