Anyone else using it? pros? cons? compared to earlier versions?

The recommended system configuration to use Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 is Microsoft Windows® 2000, Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Windows Me), or Microsoft Windows NT® on a computer running with a Pentium III processor and 128 megabytes (MB) of RAM.

This is nearly the same requirements as for IE5.0, and since you're upgrading and not doing a full install it won't be nearly the hassle that this might indicate.

It did take me about 15 minutes for the upgrade to 5.5 to download and install and then reboot the system with a dial-up connection that usually connects at 49,333 bps.

I'm at 45,333 right now, and that's often a better transfer rate than 49,333 which is as fast as I ever get. North Las Vegas really needs it's phone lines reworked but I don't exp[ect to see it happen in the near future.
