I am going to make a blanket statement (read: guess) that isn't backed up by any statistical data whatsoever, but I'd be willing to bet at least 50% of men find trains to be at a minimum " interesting ". Giant machinery in general is something that appeals to a lot of men, and probably a few women as well, across multiple generations. Especially in the right aesthetic setting.

Let’s stop this nonsense right now before it becomes unacceptable to Lit. For purposes of settling the issue, clearly Horse is the same species of alien as the character 30-30 from Bravestarr. An equine humanoid who can assume a quadruped form and has no problem being mounted by humans. Not a horse of the type we’re familiar with in real life. Clearly a mythological creature!
