49 yr old single man here Who has been reading and chatting about BDSM for a month now.I have always been passive in realtionships with women.That had me thinkin I was a sub. But the more I learn ,I think I am happpy passive just wanna get assettive enough to introduce a little SM roleplay[switching] into the Bedroom in my next relationship.I don't really care about the Master/Misstress stuff

There is a big difference from being passive and being submissive. It sounds more like you have difficulties pursuing relationships and then maintaining them. These are issues that should be addressed in vanilla relationships also -- pursuing a BDSM relationship in hopes that it will be easier (ie, if you are with a femdom, she'll be the assertive one) is a bad move. Relationships are complicated and require work, involve risk and require emotional maturity -- BDSM or vanilla.

If you don't really care about the "Master/Mistress" stuff, you should evaluate whether or not seeking a kinky relationship is the answer at all. Instead, work on your issues regarding being passive.

Thank you for yuour feedback I am thinking your right on,its more a matter of self esteem and self confidence then anything. And asking for my partner/s to go down on me ect after all I do it for them all the time
