Not sure if this has already been done, but is there a site that supports stories with variable names?

i.e. - You enter in the names of the characters before you read the story and a program puts those names into the story for you.

I havent seen that technique used but it sounds like a great idea.

Its not a huge leap from choose your own adventure. A great way to personalise the story

If they can do online Mad Libs using nothing but **********, then I'm sure they can do this.

Chyoo is an interactive story site that lets you enter the main charachters first and last names but many authors change it so that when they write there stories the first name is the guy and the last name is the girl.

Yes, as was said above, check out www.chyoo.com

You can choose the main character names. It also works like Choose Your Own Adventure books and you can add your own chapters to existing stories.
