I use it all the time! I get ideas for steampunk props, toys, cooking, brewing... it's becoming a fabulous how-to DIY community, with links to etsy.com and craftster.org
The converter cord for my powerbook pulled loose from the magnetic base-- I found a guy on instructables who has fixed his himself, and I've been talking with him about what he did right and wrong... I'm going to commit mayhem on it this weekend.

Give them a day or so, it looks like a server problem.
And given the nature of the site, I'm sure there's some unfortunate soul pulling his hair out to get it up and running again ASAP.
