I can't help you with your password, but I can help you find out what your username is on AOL.

1) Sign on to AOL using your wife's name.

2) Once all signed on, go to the top of the screen.

3) Click on "Sign out", then "Switch screen name" You should then see a box that lets you choose which name to switch to. There is your screen name.

4) If you don't want to mess with it, click the cancel button.

Now at least you have a screen name to ask about when you call customer service. I hope that helps you.

I had ICQ, but it got to be a pain and I looked at my list one day, wondering just who in the hell all those people were.

I tried AOL, but that fizzled.

Now I stick with MSN (BrideyFearn), and that works just fine. As I only use it to talk to two other people, though, I don't know how useful it is to anyone.

For voice chat you will need:-

A sound card if you are on a primative machine, but any thing built in the last two years should be up to the job.
It doesn't matter if it is integrated as part of your motherboard, or is a seperate plug in card.

A mic and speakers, or a headset with mic.
A couple of extention cables as headset cables are often quite short.

If you want to push the boat out, and go the whole hog.

A Sound Blaster 1028 voice sound card (Live).

A USB web camera if you are going to use Netmeeting, then you can voice chat or video chat to those who have cam's as well.

MSN I used to have but didn't really like it that much, so when we got the new computer I dumped that.

I have MSN Messenger. Usually have no troubles with it and I seem to be able to talk to others using AIM. Ask bulld how that works. If you know my email address, you know how to hook up with me on messenger. I've used the voice chat feature on MSN, usually to call long distance. It works swell, if you can convince me that talking to you vocally is worth the effort of turning off my winamp.
