I was turning into vampira of the fucking night for a while there.

My personal cure, and I do not drink often and do not advocate reliance on more than one alcoholic drink a day for any reason....

my cure: go out to local. Eat chicken strips and drink 1 brandy manhattan quickly.

Giddy and high and unconcerned with the things that usually run through my brain in obsessive OCD loops (money, to-dos, things I procrastinated) I was just able to fall asleep like a rock and wake at 8 and I've been sleeping nights since.

Not sleeping and being really really bored.

When I can't sleep and I have something to do I am good to go, but when I can't sleep and there's nothing to do....omg just shoot me now please.

That's how I was at work the other night ... and actually, the other two nurses and I took turns taking naps (yes, it was that damned boring - if I wasn't still on orientation, we wouldn't have all three been there anyway).

Master is insomniac and has been for years, it's a side effect of end stage kidney failure. The only thing that helps and doesn't zonk Him out is a few cones of pot. Plus it's a lot of fun sometimes when He is stoned.......

Infact, regardless if I actually sleep I am going to go lay down for a while. I got someone who's currently occupying most of my thoughts and can't get anything done at the moment anyways.

I actually got some more sleep, but I think it was a mistake, as now I have a huge sinus headache and I'm light headed ... I already called off work and I'm about to drag myself back out to the couch so I can lay down and still be with our boy.
