Insomnia sucks

Remove all possible access to a watch/clock in your bedroom , it helps.

Great idea! Maybe I should also remove my TV, laptop and Ipod station too. It sounds like I am being sarcastic but I'm not. Your idea just made me think about removing any access that I use on a daily basis that really shouldn't belong in the bedroom. Now....If I could only unmount the TV from the wall without it falling on my head...

Sooo....as luck would have it (more like bad luck these days), someone at work saw me online and said "Hey can you help me with a 15 minute job?" So, 2 hours later, finally finished the "15 minute" job without his help. all by myself. all alone. Done. Could have been worse though....could have started to paint my kitchen.

Hey, hottie! I'm in the same boat. Spent much of the night awake...grrr
Gimme a buzz if ya want

Good morning. At least you got 2 hours...I got 1. Should have gone out dancing last night, a good night of salsa usually exhausts me....

Loove to Salsa, tango, meringue. Too bad there aren't any good clubs in INDIANA. hmmm...could go to Chicago.

Know what you mean...its an hour drive to Atlantic City for a decent club, or an hour to NYC, but I don't know it that well

lol at least someone would get some sleep later that night... or day

lol.... I'm more interested in getting to know people before the drtyy ole part comes out ;)
Gotta have a connection or it's just screwin around

That doesn't sound like fun at all. You get any (sleep that is) last night? Must almost be time to head to work this morning...

J

Been working....since 4:45 a.m. I think? Work from home which has its own pros and cons. And no...no sleep whatsoever and still not sleepy. Think I might stay in my PJs just in case I do get sleepy.

Reverse Psychology Perhaps?

If you are still in your PJs and not sleepy, perhaps you should try getting dressed, and perhaps, perversely, that might make you sleepy. Not likely, but you never know...

I'm an early bird, rather than a night owl .... usually up by 3 am Central time ... would be happy to keep you company to either 1) entertain you at least until something decent is on TV, 2) "entertain" you, wink wink, to tire you out, or 3) just bore you so much that you can't help but doze off. Happy to help any way I can! ~smile~

Perfect! I am on central time too. Would prefer for you to bore me to help me doze off right about now. ;)

Hey spicy I also have problems falling asleep but I find this works for me it might help

1) start shutting down a good hour or two before bed
2) no matter what resist urge for tv or CPU it will just keep yiu up I even took the tv out of my bedroom
3) I downloaded an ambient noise app to iPad ..rain noise makes me sleepy lol
4) a low dosage of melatonin it's naturally occurring in your body you can get it at any store by the vitamin isle try like 3mg start low take it an hourly two before bed

This might not work immediately but if you try it for a week make it part of your night time routine like brushing yiur teeth and washing yiur face you might find yourself getting some sleep :)

sometimes i will stay up and make myself so tired i have to got to sleep but otherwise i average only 4 hours a night,i just dont feel tired

That IS a very good point. The bedroom is the place for very quiet, or very noisy, and should not involve electronic equipment. I mean audio/video electronic equipment.

I use something called iChill. It comes in a bottle that looks like 5-Hour Energy, but it's got melatonin and Valerian Root in it. It usually mellows me out enough to stretch into a nice little sleep.

I hope you get some nice rest!

I've been having a hard time falling asleep recently as well. I'm normally up pretty late as is but it kinda sucks since there is no one to chat with during the late hours. Normally getting off helps me fall asleep :D

Just got done doing some Geeky stuff. Now I'm here seeing who's about...
