Ingrown hair in the pubic area men and women

I suffer from really bad ingrown hairs in my pubic area I have tried several diffrent thing to get rid of them I was just wandering if anyone out there has any suggestion this is very painful for me at times

What you need to get is razors that are designed for African Americans. My dermatologist suggested them to me, and they work great.

I find applying neosporin to the area to be helpful - dulls pain and softens up the skin so the hair can work its way out more easily, as well as helping prevent infection.

Someone told me that applying a bit of tea tree oil after shaving helps to avert ingrown hair.

I have found that applying a hot/warm compress helps. It opens the pores is my understanding. Now I will admit that it is a weird way to spend 5 - 10 mins. *snort* But it does help.

Exfoliate, exfoliate, and exfoliate some more. But truly, exfoliate immediately after you shave, and if you do not shave every day, exfoliate at least one or two days after shaving too. It really helps.

Also, applying antiperspirant after shaving helps too. Better than bikini zone or tend skin.

I can't say about that specific region of the body, but a product that really helps is called Tend Skin. I have thick facial hair, as I am rugged like the back ass of a mountain. And I wear only collared dress shirts. So, my collar often rubbed my neck and caused irritation. (Not that kind of collar, fuckers... Dress shirt collar) This stuff works like a champ. I put it on before I go to bed and it works wonders. If I forget, I totally notice a difference. You just apply a bit to a cotton ball and rub it on your face (or dick in your instance). It burns like hell. But works. They also have a roller ball version that works really well. It's like a stick of roll on deodorant and it's easy to apply.

Also, couple this with proper exfoliation and you're golden. Clinique makes a really nice exfoliant, FOR MEN!!!

And hey, just because I'm totally rugged doesn't mean I'm not up for a good skin care system. I can hear the laughter. (Let's hope the fun police don't hear it)

Also, there is a product I've heard about that is supposed to be amazing. I have not used it, but will probably buy some today now that I've been reminded. It's called African Black Soap or Ghana Soap or Ghanian Black Soap. It goes by all of those names. But my hair stylist was telling me that she has been recommending that for people who have thick facial hair and the like. She said it completely helped several of her clients. I presume it is safe for the willy region.
