Info and Experiences wanted - Cauterizing Pen

Has anyone been branded using a cauterizing pen for branding or have any info, website, etc for me on this? I've found a few sites but it's hard to know what is GOOD info when you have no experience in it.

Any advice, info, stories to share, etc would be most appreciated. I need to get a report together by next week.

And no, comments about it being dangerous, edgy or stupid are not welcome although you are certainly entitled to your opinion...

I know I read a lot about it ages ago, but lost all my links. James G5 also posted this on the Branding thread in a discussion we were having about branding. I have heard elsewhere it is not as permanent unless touched up, but not sure if that is correct. I also came across a US site last year which makes electric brands (to your specifications), mostly for cattle, but from memory and my research, they could be used for humans as well. The beauty I saw in them was that you could control and guarantee the temperature to ensure a better outcome as in not making it too hot or too cool. Was interesting. If I find the link again I will post it.

I have this video in my favorites on youtube. It shows flash branding and a few people I believe being branded with the cauterizing pen. Not sure if it will be any help, but will give you a good idea of how they do it.
