It is almost my Lit. Anniversary, ( not sure when, precisely - but I'm vain enough to remember that it was early January, 2002) so I thought I would take a few moments to start one of my infrequent threads.

I am NOT "fishing" here - just wanted to get some reflections upon the past year on "paper", and gather some other perspectives on the following topics - If this has been done before - I don't care! This is my thread - NYAH!

On "fluff": I enjoy cheering others up, as some Lit.sters have done for me, when times were darker. A Sense of Humour is something that is best shared with fellow crazies!

On flirting: I've chatted with some AWSOME women from around the Globe. The sensuality that oozes from your fingertips, regardless of age, body-type, Nationality or socio-economic "status" perpetuates my constant ability to be aroused. You gals have done WONDERS for my sexual self-image.

On things Political: Whatever the "position", the discourse here is GREAT! In a time when each day, we dread "the next shoe to drop", it is a pleasure to discuss, argue, "fence" and laugh at our Human foibles!

On aging: There are enough of us here in our 40's & early 50's to confirm my belief that though the body can tire, the mind, for those who choose to use it, remains youthful and ENGAGED.

Lit is a great example of how foibles seem to connect us better than our strengths. Interesting as well, is that Lit is good to those who look for good. I guess one man's foible is another's forte.

In the last year, I've dispensed a lot of anwsers, some of them more than a few a few times (how do I get an avatar? How do I resize a picture? etc)

The great thing about this place, is even the "answer man" tends to collect a few answers for future use.
