Had this idea of a conservative and shy Indian housewife who finally decides to experiment with her sexuality. To achieve some thrill she visits a brothel to have some unrestricted rough sex with absolute strangers.

However, back to your story concept, it has some potential. Is your thought that she would offer to work in the brothel for a day, or that she would go to be a patron?

It sounds like she would go as a patron, but would she be going to find a man, a woman, or both?

Typically, to throw some realism on this, patrons have to ask to be treated and in what way. The people servicing them are not telepathic.
For instance, if a male submissive was to go to a Dominant female and said "I want to do whatever makes you happy", she would likely hand him a broom and tell him to sweep off the porch, then to come back inside to get a brush and paint to paint the outside of the house.

If she is a patron, then she has to take control of what she wants done to her.
If she goes to work there, then there is the "possibility" that she will get used roughly.

I'm more intrigued in the process of how she gets there. A normal sheltered woman doesn't just decide to walk into a house of sex. Is there a breakdown of morals? An opening of sexual attitudes?

I would quibble that actually, the term would more properly be a "house of ill repute" but that is quite besides the point.

I believe, that experience is sometimes, reason enough. However, I don't know exactly if the OP wants the story to go in that direction.

I said this because the OP stated the woman is married. More often than not, any issue of a spouse seeking out sexuality outside their bedroom without the consent of their spouse, is because of boredom.
Thereby, they seek an experience. Something outside of the normal and ho-hum of their existence. This is stated by the OP. She wishes to experiment.

The reason I said she is doing so without her spouse's consent is the way the OP phrased their statement "...she finally decided..." This means she did so without consent or foreknowledge by her spouse.

So some of what I say is speculation but is based on the OP's opening statement.

However, I guess that what you are saying is that you want more back-story of what led up to her decision to go to a bordello.

Women seeking experiences and to experiment are living ho-hum life styles. They feel more like automatons than a vital and satisfying life. Ho-hum doesn't really read well, in my opinion. The trouble is, ho-hum life is exceedingly difficult to describe because if the author doesn't do it "just right", some readers will say "Well, that isn't so bad!" and thus spoil the illusion for the rest of the story.
Like an impressionist artist, sometimes just hinting at detail, is enough to make the viewer fill in with their interpretation of greater details.

For instance, in one of my stories, I wanted to describe one character getting 40 spanks. but unless I wanted to try to colorfully describe each and every smack, I had to find another way around it, so, I described 10 smacks with great detail, then changed to a different scene just outside, where I described something else going on, then flipped back to see the character who was spanked, tearfully rubbing her backside, meaning she got her full due and it was over.

It's a cheap form of giving detail, much like some would say impressionistic art is likewise lacking the details.

I feel like, as others have said, the first experiment should be a bit more tame. Maybe she's a housewife, but her husband's too domineering, and won't let her use any money on herself, saying that he earned it, so he decides how it's used, so she decides to get a part-time job at a local massage parlor.

She's enjoying it, but one day she complains to her boss or a coworker about wanting to make more money and how terrible her husband is to her, and she tells her that she can make more in tips if she starts giving happy endings. She's shy at first, but after another fight with her husband over money, she decides to give it a try, and soon she discovers she loves it. Maybe she even gets the chance to cuckold her husband with some of his employees at work.
