Unicorns are allright. I have a story, "Deidre and Horny Horny" in which a woman has sex with her unicorn in three different ways. The first and third could just as well be with a pony but in the second, the unicorn uses his horn which makes the story allright.

I also have a story where sex between a husband and his 16 year old wife is described. Apparently husband and wife is okay even though someone is under 18. The story is "Ruthie Calls on Me" and the under-18 sex is actually anti-erotic, as it was intended to be.

Another limitation is on illustrated stories. No pornography is allowed. Some nudity might be accepted, but very limited. This may seem strange since the stories are erotic and they are posted in a place where they are surrounded by porno pics but that is the rule. Possibly it is to avoid competition with the advertisers.

Maybe you haven't noticed, but there is a difference between smallminded prudishness and tasteful esthetics which find a lot of hard-core porn shallow and exploitative. (And yeah, some of my stories are shallow and exploitative too, but that's fantasy - there are no actual people involved).

Okay, here's my 3 and a half scents....er....cents....

It seems to me that anyone who was not abused sexually as a youngster has an incest fetish. I (for some reason) think that screwing my sister...provided I had one and that she didn't look like my brother *shudder* would probably be a hell of a lot of fun. I don't do mommy stories because I get to thinking about my mom and...well...I'm just not into that.

But yeah, Incest is the last greatest taboo that you can have out here....except maybe non-human stuff. Like has already been said, there's no necro, no pedo, and no beastiality (except for aforementioned non-human). it shows a love that exists between family memebers that is NOT supposed to be that way in polite society, but has existed since pre-historic times....hell, It's even in the animal kingdom.

Besides, most of the grown men I know say that getting twins (or the Dahm Tripplets) in the sack at once would be the pinnacle of their sexual exploits.....except maybe twin midget strippers. Some of you just cringed, but think about it....if the opportunity arose....you probably would, too.

I have to agree totally with what Darkness has just said.

Incest is the last great taboo (appart from having sex with twin stripping midgets covered in shit and horse cum that is) that many more people like to think about than will admit to. (Eeugggghhhh , i know what i have just writen and it makes me feel sick too).

But getting back to the point (yes i do have one I think).
A good story ,Incest based or otherwise, should flow and get the reader involved with the people in it in some way . Just writing down a list of sexual acts without paying attention to the little details is about as erotic as watching paint dry,(appologies to anyone who gets turned on by drying paint) and a sexual encounter between two family members should be one ,initially at least, based on love( i know some like to take the nonconseting path but that's not for me).
Hope i'm not being too sanctamonius and my comment is taken as nothing more than what it is, a general critique of some of the writing styles i have encountered on this otherwise brilliant site

I think there are a lot of people who feel this way, but who don't want to appear judgmental or small-minded. In fact, most of the people who said they like incest stories the last time this topic came up, said that they found the idea of having sex with their own parent or sibling a turn-off. They just liked to read about other people doing it.

I'm fascinated by why so many people have written and read about incest stuff. It does less than nothing for me, but then I'm turned on by anal sex. This is another taboo area (although less so), with no real function in terms of Darwinism.

I also like taking drugs. There is no logical reason for this either.

I believe we like pushing the boundaries of our mind, and get kicks out of challenging the social norm (depending on the individual of course).

This is evolutionary advantageous because those that experiment socially and sexually will be more (and less) socially and reproductivley successfull.

I believe that most of the stories are about people who have established a relationship, co-workers, dating, master-slave, whatever, and the story is about a relatively short period of time during the relationship. Maybe a turning point in the relationship, maybe a big change, but not a new relationship.

This is an example of the distinction between :incest" and "taboo". Since the adoptive siblings are not related by blood it is not illegal and not incest. However, since society perceives it as incest, it is taboo.

When I think of lit, I think of the great Discussion Boards, the Contests, and the folks who post here. I really don't think "Oh Incest!" Anyway, if you don't like incest stories, don't go to that category, and if you don't go to that category, that shouldn't be the first thing you think of.

Yes, I think your friends have much to hide. (I'd definatly recomend the above mentioned tecniques for messing with there minds.
