On the other hand the other direction this could go would be the highly common storyline of the family that has done this for many generations. I just wish that authors would go the rest of the way with these stories and bring in the inbreeding and birth defects that this sort of breeding program tend to bring out.

4) Nobody said she had to be a blood relative, if the author wants, one of them or both are adopted, there are so many ways to get past things, don't be so close minded.

5) Look, this is about story ideas, If you wish to give feedback or suggestions to improve upon the idea, feel free too, but don't enter a topic you know you probably wont enjoy, and just post a negative reply, "Standard" this or that. These sort of replies can go any way, whether most or just a few authors write them in certain ways, or just readers giving certain feedback / suggestions, it doesn't matter whether its "standard" in fact, if it's standard it generally means there's a market for that idea, and authors want a well received story, so if they know a particular way of doing it will make it more successfully, then let them.
