I think the fact we have gotten away with it without deletion proves otherwise.
They mean child sexuallity (no matter how subtle) can't be submitted in stories (story page, chat, PMs, or SRPs) or gone into graphic detail in discussion or debate.

The fact this is a story ideas forum should be a clue that you should either write it on another site (something I don't recommend) or up the age to 18.

hmm, I'm really not too sure about the idea myself, I hate the idea actually, but look at the netherlands example. They have a registry where paedos can sign up to, giving them access to a meeting group, like AA, only they talk about, well, yknow. This list is passed to the local police every month so they can monitor all of them. This is supposedly a large list, yet the occurences of paedophelia in the country is extremely low.

You're fighting a losing battle on this one. As I mentioned earlier, the hard part is knowing where to draw the line. But, obviously, the line is drawn at age 18. You might think it's an arbitrary line, but in a civilized society, we need arbitrary lines in order to keep society from degenerating into anarchy. If you're not happy with where the line is drawn, perhaps you should consider becoming a *Morman*. Or moving to another country where the line is drawn more to your liking.
I don't think accusing LIT of censorship is very productive, since they bend over backward to allow as much freedom of speech as they can without getting shut down. Your beef should not be with LIT, it should be with the US government. And, to clarify my earlier post, your beef is not my beef. I'm prefectly happy with where the line is drawn.

Actually they are not. They are trying to stay within what one bigoted group would like the law to be, to avoid harassment.

If it were the actual law of the USA, then all copies of Lolita would be banned and possessing one would be an offence, let alone republishing it as a CD as Random House Audio Assets did in 2005. Sex with children is illegal, and hence possessing pictures of sex with children is illegal, but words are not.

I realise that murder, and driving at 80 mph are also illegal, but possessing pictures of either of those acts is not illegal. Then, the lawmakers, and hence the laws themselves, were never very logical.
