There's a few of us, but why UK particularly? Some of them muricans can write good. I include a Polish character in a couple of mine and it's always raining - that should make you feel at home

None taken - I was only having fun. I'm from the UK. We take the micky all the time, mate.

Interesting thread. As a male writer here, I will say I follow more female writers than male. Women tend to write enough plot to make it interesting. Too many male writers do obsess on physical attributes. Personally, I write in general terms - slim, shapely, etc. - and hope the reader will raft the character in their own mind.

But I will say, you will find a lot of overlap with authors of both persuasion.
