Hey ladies...if you don't remember me I'm a 19/m/MA...and I just wanted to post on here that I finally got accepted to the Marine Corps...I'm an enlisted poolee (recruit)...I'm leaving in December, and if I could start (seriously) talking to one of the ladies on here, that'd be an awesome thing....

Hate to bust your bubble

You are not a "Marine" until you have gone through boot camp. When I went through, you received the Marine Corps emblem to put on your cover, (hat for those of you that are not familiar with military jargon), some time during your final week of training, and that signified you had become "One of the Few, the Proud, the Marines'. With that said, good luck and Sempr Fi.

You're becoming part of the best for sure. My Dad was Marine and I have lots of friends in the military; some currently at Camp Lejeune. If you get a Hawaii that would be great. Visited there a number of times too...stayed at Kaneoahe MCAS now it's just MCS. Anyway it is all so beautiful there. The last guy I dated seriously recently joined the Marine Reserves.
