I'm kind of back. Still unpacking. We have DSL and the modem won't work with our router so I may disappear again if we have to send it back before getting the new equipment.

The DSL company is supposed to be sending out a "networking" modem. We'll see if it's what I need. Lord knows I had a hell of a time getting a straight answer. I had to call three times (got disconnected twice when being transferred). Third time was charm. I got a great customer service rep who did a conference call with all of the people we got transferred to and stayed with it until he finally got someone who knew what they were doing. (I mean geez, how hard is it to say, yes you can send the one you bought back and we'll send out the different one.) All in all, I was on the phone for over two hours for such a simple request. Ridiculous.

Tomorrow HM and I are taking off to go orchid shopping for the weekend. We should be back on Saturday evening. I really hope that they have some of these in stock . . .
