I was MIA for 2 years and am just returning as of this week.

What happenned?

The shortest version is that I was writing and active here until when I graduated from grad school. From there I

1-Was adjusting to a full time job and trying to find an apartment

2-Had a hideous breakup with my best friend of 10 years (we didn't date, but it's the only experience where I've ever gone through that kind of emotional hell with someone after ending a relationship that I wasn't dating)

3-Met my (now) husband, got serious, moved in together, got engaged, planned the wedding, got married last July

4-Herniated a disc in my lower back, went through various treatment options (none successful) until I was carried out of work by two emt's and two firemen in early September. Spent Sept and 1/2 of October drugged and waiting for my operation, and the second half of October drugged as a result of the operation.

5-I did Nano in November to the exclusion of nearly everyone and everything.

6-Here I am-and I have too much free time as I'm not cleared for work until after January 1.

I never intended to be gone this long and missed you guys.
