Tomorrow morning I leave to catch the ferry to France and then drive to Normandy. That's the equivalent of driving to the next town for some US citizens.

Although there might be internet cafes near where I'm going I don't think I'll attempt the French version of Windows. Last time I tried I used most of my French swearwords.

Not so quick a trip, but I survived. Actually, it was a pleasent trip. Although it seemed impossible to get in-and-out of a restaurant in less than an hour and a half.

But now I'm back and can read dirty story, and surf for porn once again.

I haven't been around for a couple days, and it's because my computer isn't doing so well.

After I built my desk, we decided to move the computer onto the desk from the floor (it was getting very uncomfortable having to sit on the floor so much, naturally). Because the modem is across the room and my mom thought the cable running along the wall would look ugly, we decided to get a wireless card and install it. It didn't work. And then my computer started not booting.

Now, it'll boot in one attempt out of twenty, if I'm lucky. It's not the boot sector. My dad wiped everything, just in case the problem was with XP, so now my save game files are gone (I did back up my other files) and I've got to reinstall all of my programs. I haven't done so yet, because he's still working on it (cleaning the hardware right now) and I don't want to have to do it all again if something goes wrong. Weve been discussing solutions. I had a frustrated crying breakdown earlier today.

My dad's gifted me his very old laptop and let me install Word on it so I can do NaNo. It's got internet as well, but it's so painfully slow that I most likey won't be around much in the near future.

I'm also busy eating chocolate and feeling way too sorry for myself.
