In/Out Board

In... kind of.

And now it's time to get the violins out, because I've been up since 6.30, driven somewhere in the region of 400 miles (don't ask) and I'm sick.

I got into the house and the room started to spin.

:(

Nice to see you back, Zade.
Now where's that nurse's uniform so I can take care of you? Darn, can't find it--do you mind if we do without?

Nothing is always fine by me   :catroar:

Out, mostly, until Sunday morning.

I'm bringing my laptop with me, so I may be able to get online some time tonight or tomorrow.

Be good, children.

Leaving Sunday morning for vacation and won't be back until the following Saturday night. I am taking my laptop so I *might* be able to check in but I'm not promising anything since I imagine I'll be ready to drop by the time we get back to the hotel room each night.

Bye kiddies... play nicely. I'm away on holiday from 4th to 18th and won't be around much until early August.

Hi all :)
It was an unannounced (and unplanned) absence of almost a month, but I am now mostly back.
Had the unfortunate circumstance of a kidney stone right at the start of June and after two weeks of waiting to get scheduled, had surgery to have it blasted into pulp with a laser. With all the pre-op and post-op pain medications, I haven't been doing a whole lot other than sleep, zone out in front of a TV and drink lots and lots of water.
Good news is, starting to feel a little more normal (even if there are still some tubes in there). Bad news is that the stone was so large (15x9 mm) that they couldn't get it all in one shot and will have to have another surgery in about three more weeks (after I get all healed from this one).
In any case, it's good to be back. :)

Glad you're back, Nero, and sending healing hugs your way.

I'm going to be gone for a while, just getting my head together, back to basics, centering and grounding myself. Its not anything awful of horrible, just a bit of a spiritual retreat, my own private Lent season.

If you need me, check the nearest monastery.
