Hope it's gotten better by now. I vote for Calgon Moments to become at the very least Calgon Cruises, a month long. And mandatory annually for all mothers at no charge.

Been on very little lately while I recover from surgery, poor spayed kitty can't sit up for a very long time. Seems liked I've missed a lot of love going on around here! Miss it, too!

I'm back-----sooner than I thought, but I wasn't the driver on this quick trip out of state, so I had little say.

BTW, it's nice to check back in, but not strictly necessary if one is posting in threads, because then, well, one is visible. It's most important to check out, though, especially if an absence of many days or weeks is expected. That way, our community need not worry unnecessarily.

Unless the reason for the absence in something intrinsically worrisome, that is, like having a baby (like AppleMama a few weeks ago), or some health condition. In those cases, please designate a Lit-buddy who knows how to contact you in real life, and perhaps knows your who your next of kin or some other real-life contact. That way, if something unfortunate were to happen to you, word could make it's way back to our community. It's not necessary to disclose who your Lit-buddy is, but you should disclose the fact that you do have one.

I have a Lit-buddy who has all my real life contact info, next of kin, and workplace. If I get hit by a truck tomorrow and am mysteriously absent for many days, this person would check up on me, and would let Lit know that Roxanne has gone to the big roadkill in the sky.

Good idea, Roxelby. My Lit buddy has my contact info, and has reciprocated with theirs. Hope others do the same.
