Congress approval rating is so low it ‘couldn’t beat herpes in the polls’

Former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger on Tuesday noted the deep unpopularity of members of Congress as he pushed for redistricting reform across the nation.

"Here are some of the things that are more popular than Congress: hemorrhoids, Nickelback, traffic jams, root canals, colonoscopies, herpes. Even herpes, they couldn't beat herpes in the polls," Schwarzenegger says in a video posted on attn:, a video sharing site aimed at millennials.

The former Republican governor, who championed redistricting reform in California, said the politicians keep getting re-elected because in most of the nation, they draw their district boundaries.

"Gerrymandering has created an absurd reality where politicians now pick their voters instead of the voters picking their politicians," he said, pointing to California.

Connecticut lawmaker begs Trump to stop tweeting and get that Russian spy ship off her state’s coastline

Tuesday, a Russian spy ship was spotted off the coast of Delaware heading north at 10 knots. The ship cruised up the eastern coast of the United States. As of Wednesday morning, that ship is now off the coast of Connecticut and one congresswoman wants the president to stop tweeting and start taking care of national security.

“A Russian spy ship patrolling 30 miles from the Groton SUBASE underscores that the threats posed by a resurgent Russia are real,” said Rep. Joe Courtney (D-CT), according to WTNH. “This unacceptable, aggressive action, combined with the buzzing of US Navy ships in the Red Sea yesterday are clearly testing the resolve of a new administration. While I have total confidence in our Navy’s vigilant, responsible readiness, the White House needs to move past their seeming infatuation with Putin and treat him like the serious threat to global peace and security that he has been for the last five years.”

The Mother of Conspiracies!

Or, How Vladimir Putin Catfished A US Election With the Collusion of Team Trump

What if Vladimir Putin directed the entire attack – not via a “15 year old girl” from Gaston, North Carolina, but by a hardened group of adult hackers from that state who had penetrated the emails of Director Brennan of the CIA, and doxed and attacked hundreds of FBI and law enforcement personnel?

And what if, after making Carter Page’s recruiter Jeff Sessions Attorney General, Donald Trump repeated the trick by making the ‘prosecutor’ of those Carolina hackers Acting AG – then changing the order of succession at Justice to cement him as number two?

In this story I exclusively report the connections between the USSR-CWA hacker group of North Carolina ‘Crackas With Attitude’ and the “sexts with a 15 year old girl” from Gaston, North Carolina, that started the chain of events that led to James Comey’s forced letter to Congress, including the fact that the “15 year old girl”’s “email to Weiner” is in fact a series of plagiarized texts it is unlikely any 15 year old girl has read, including works by J.D. Salinger, David Foster Wallace, Charles Bukowski, and – yes – “Fight Club” by Chuck Palahniuk.

Please be true!

‘FBI better have a good answer’: Comey under siege after Trump-Russia contact allegations leaked

Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) posed the Watergate question of ‘What did the president know and when did he know it.’

“The much bigger issue is, what is the connection with Russia and the Trump administration? It’s not only how far up does it go — was the campaign in collusion?” Nadler asked. The congressman was asked if he trusted the FBI to properly investigate the Russian connection to the election, whereupon he replied, “I don’t know.”

Even Republicans now have grave concerns with House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) wondering what exactly is going on and whether the FBI has any answers as part of their investigation.

“I expect for the FBI to tell me what is going on, and they better have a good answer,” Nunes said.

"I can not recall" will not be accepted apparently. :)

Feds might be investigating Fox News for securities violations over Ailes sexual harassment

Last year, Fox News head Roger Ailes was ousted from the network after multiple women accused him of sexual harassment.

Now, Fox News may be the target of a federal investigation, stemming from settlements of the sexual harassment claims. According to the Hollywood Reporter, government officials are launching a probe into the corporation for settling claims against Ailes without informing the company’s shareholders, in violation of rules set by the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

The Reporter says that former Fox host Andrea Tantaros’ lawyer got a subpoena from federal prosecutors—the Department of Justice’s New York Southern District, headed by U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara.

“Once I saw it, I knew what was happening,” Tantaros’ attorney, Judd Burstein, told the Reporter. “They were investigating whether Fox News violated securities laws by not reporting settlements to the Securities and Exchange Commission.”

According to Tantaros’ lawsuit, Fox News “operated like a sex-fueled, Playboy Mansion-like cult.”

Oh that must burn!:)

‘She is miserable’: Melania Trump reportedly unhappy with new role as First Lady

First Lady Melania Trump is unhappy with the turn her life has taken since her husband was elected President of the United States.

According to sources speaking with US Weekly, the wife of Donald Trump didn’t sign up to be in the political spotlight when she married him in 2005. The reluctance to play the role of wife of the president may be why the very private Melania has remained in their Manhattan penthouse while Trump spends his weekdays at the White House.

According to a friend of the family, the former model, “Is unhappy with how her life ended up. She is miserable.”

How much longer before she bails?

Elijah Cummings: ‘Jason Chaffetz appears to be taking marching orders directly from Trump’s tweet’

“Chairman Chaffetz appears to be taking his marching orders directly from President Trump’s tweet yesterday,” Cummings said in a statement on Thursday. “nstead of investigating General Flynn’s lies to the Vice President and the American people, as well as his troubling ties with Russia, the Chairman chose to target those who brought them to light.”

“Congress should be doing independent oversight of the Executive Branch and protecting whistleblowers, not running interference while the White House conceals their abuses and misleads the American people for weeks,” Cummings added. Chairman Chaffetz said he didn’t want to go on ‘fishing expeditions,’ but that’s exactly what he’s doing here.”

Trump Winery begs Labor Dept to hire more foreign workers over Americans for second time in 3 months

Eric Trump’s Virginia winery is seeking permission for the second time in three months to hire foreign workers, BuzzFeed News reports. The petition for foreign labor comes despite President Donald Trump’s campaign promise to put Americans back to work.

According to a petition to the Department of Labor that was posted online on Thursday, the Trump Winery seeks to hire 23 workers for the following positions: “Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse.”

Trump Vineyard Estates, LLC is looking to hire the workers under the federal H-2 visa program at a rate of $11.27 per hour. The H-2 visa program provides temporary work visas, allowing US employers to hire foreign laborers. This most recent petition is the second petition filed by the Trump Winery since Dec. 2, 2016, which sought to hire six foreign workers.

According to the petition, the job description notes workers would have to work in weather with temperatures as low as 10 degrees while “on their feet in bent positions for long periods of time.”

Just go by Home Depot, Eric.

GOP’s Mark Sanford lays waste to Trump’s lies: ‘Facts don’t matter? Our republic was based on reason’

Rep. Mark Sanford (R-SC) is the lone outspoken critic of President Donald Trump among House Republicans — but he wishes his colleagues, especially Speaker Paul Ryan, would perform their constitutional duty to check the chief executive’s power.

The South Carolina Republican, whose own presidential ambitions were derailed by an infamous extramarital affair in 2009, admits he’s not the most credible critic of another man’s honesty, but he told Politico that Trump’s pattern of dishonesty violated the nation’s founding principles.

“You want to give anybody the benefit of the doubt."

But he’s disappointed that Ryan, the house speaker, seems unwilling to challenge Trump on even their most basic political differences.

“I admired his conviction in the campaign,” Sanford told Politico. “(But) at the end of the day, radio silence is not sustainable in being true to yourself.”

Trump’s ‘bizarre, volatile behavior’ could be from untreated syphilis: infectious disease doctor

"Some are saying..."

There has been a great deal of speculation in recent weeks about Pres. Donald Trump’s mental health and a debate has sprung up among psychiatric professionals as to the ethics of discussing the chief executives wellness. After Trump’s voluble, rambling hour and 17 minute press conference on Thursday, that speculation has acquired a new urgency.

On Friday, The New Republic published an essay by infectious disease specialist Steven Beutler who believes that Pres. Trump may well be suffering from dementia but that the cause could be clinical rather than psychological.

“Physicians like me have also taken notice of Trump’s bizarre, volatile behavior,” Beutler wrote. “Given our experience, we can’t help but wonder if there’s a medical diagnosis to be made. After all, many medical conditions exhibit their first symptoms in the form of psychiatric issues and personality changes. One condition in particular is notable for doing so: Neurosyphilis.”

Beutler explained that syphilis has been known through history as “The Great Imposter” because it mimics so many other illnesses and syndromes as it moves through its various stages of infection.

“Primary syphilis is the most widely recognized form of the disease. It is characterized by the development of an ulcer, usually genital, a few weeks to a few months after sexual contact with an infected person. If the ulcer is not noticed, or not treated, it heals on its own, and the disease enters a dormant phase. But during this time, the bacteria—a spirochete called Treponema pallidum—spreads throughout the body without causing any symptoms,” he said.

Secondary syphilis develops weeks or months later and is characterized by a wide array of symptoms including fever, rash, fatigue, sores in the mouth and genitals, malaise, muscle aches and swollen glands.

If left untreated at this stage, Beutler said, “the infection enters a prolonged latent phase, which can last decades. During this time, it is asymptomatic and it is not contagious. In some cases, this is followed by a tertiary stage, which is the most serious and may involve any organ in the body. It is seen 10 to 30 years after the initial infection, and is best known for causing neurologic and neuropsychiatric disease: Neurosyphilis.”

“The importance — both to Trump and the nation — of establishing or ruling out this diagnosis cannot be overstated, because this infection is treatable,” concluded Beutler. “Without treatment, however, the disease is progressive: It can make for a rather ugly end to one’s life. Whether Trump emerged unscathed from his ‘personal Vietnam’ is now a question that he should explore with his personal physician.”

I'll bet he could get tested at Planned Parenthood.:)

‘Go f*ck yourself!’: Watch Larry Wilmore rip Milo’s ‘douchey little ass’ for attacking transgender adults

Conservative provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos joined the panel on the HBO Real Time Overtime segment and, to the surprise of no one, managed to make it all about himself, but not without getting a severe smack down from commentator Larry Wilmore who repeatedly told the Breitbart editor, “Go f*ck yourself.”

After Yiannopoulos launched an attack on the transgendered, Wilmore attempted to explain that the same rhetoric Milo was using was once used against the gay community.

“I think it’s just sad because these are that same arguments that were used against gay people, like they were aliens who just wanted to f*ck anything that moved, and that’s why we should avoid them,” Wilmore began as Milo attempted to cut in, only to have Wilmore cut him off with a curt, “Well, then let me finish my thought please.”

I tried to watch Real Time to see what this douche bag was selling, but couldn't watch this shithead. I'm not surprised he was run out of Berkley, free speech or not. He shoud be deported as an affront to Faggotry everywhere!
