There is a Mediteranean Restaraunt just south of me that makes some of the best Gyro's I have ever eaten. The meat is done well but is still tender and juicy. (Not to mention well marinated.) They layer a nice load of this same meat on top of shredded lettuce, Tomatoes and Onions on top of a toasted Pita. Then they give you a choice of sauces to top it with. Traditional Tzatziki Sauce or a somewhat spicier Tzatziki based sauce. (Reminds me of the saice used on Doenners.) Now we're talking a huge thing, it has to have well over a pound of meat on it. It costs all of $5.00. (Can you guess what I had for dinner tonight?

In a way though I'm glad they don't deliver to the neighborhood of my Hospital. (We're just outside of their delivery area.) If they did and I broke down and introduced my co-workers to them we would be ordering out to them on a daily basis. (Yes they're that good.)
