Trump's popularity is at an all time high as we speak, illustrating the impeachment process has elevated his popularity with the public at large. It certainly hasn't hurt him. You can lay it all at the hammer toed feet of the tragically incompetent Nancy Pelosi.

Actually, what you are describing is the economy of the stupid.

A stock market bubble based on robbing future generations of their quality of life is not "working on behalf of the people". Gutting environmental regulations and going much deeper into debt may goose the market in the short term, but anyone with half a brain understands that this cheap-trick approach to economics is just as corrupt as the rest of the impeached President's actions.

As for the results of the election, that will depend on how many voters have half a brain in the lower population states that are granted an inordinate amount of power in our archaic electoral system. There is an incredible amount of stupid and short-term-thinking people out there in Walmart nation.

American Pravda propped him up even more than they did Obama's numbers despite his administration's deeply unpopular policies.

You do get that his number is higher after impeachment? Since more than 51% of Americans did not want him in office in the first pkace, 49% is an improvenent.
