Between 2003 and 2007, Virginia Thomas, a longtime conservative activist, earned $686,589 from the Heritage Foundation, according to a Common Cause review of the foundation’s IRS records. Thomas failed to note the income in his Supreme Court financial disclosure forms for those years, instead checking a box labeled “none” where “spousal noninvestment income” would be disclosed.
It's about time.

While his obvious disloyalty to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, and his outspoken judicial activism and contempt for liberty SHOULD be grounds for impeachment, unfortunately it will probably take something more substantial. I would, however, be interested in his wife's activities and whether that constitutes a clear conflict of interest, and on those grounds it is certainly worth investigating.

I want Clarence Thomas to stay on the Supreme Court long enough to vote against affirmative action. I want the Supreme Court to rule against affirmative action in university admissions and hiring.

High Tech Lynching 2.0 ?

(I think he should divorce that cow and get a hot young blonde Catholic girl.)
Saw that she answered all the questions the 1/6 committee has today. Put to rest all that misconduct nonsense.

A lot of people-I'm one of them-want to see term limits for congress. I want to see it for scotus too. Lifelong appointments are ridiculous and its why they're so contentious. Just like in congress, the idea a bunch of senior citizens still stuck in whatever decade they were born in and wearing depends making the laws that affect everyone.

If e had term limits, there'd be no need to try to impeach Thomas he'd have been gone years ago

Lifetime appointments for SCOTUS makes sense to rise above politics. If the court becomes political, impeachment needs to be used....that's what it's for.

I've said before what the answer is. Remove all 9 current occupants.

No permanent appointments.

Each session the seats would be different and filled at random by members of the Circuits. Lottery type draw conducted by the Administrative Office Of The Courts. No politics at all.

Naw, since he doesn’t want to risk spawning an abortion he should just keep one of his brown-nosing male clerks on the side.

But she’s an insurrectionist! Treason! Bennie and Liz are gonna take Gini and Clarence down, and the GOP can kiss their House chances goodbye. 😂

Justice Sotomayor on Justice Thomas yesterday:

“I have disagreed with [Thomas] more than with any other justice. Which means we don’t come together on many cases. And yet I can tell you that I spend time with him, understanding that he is one of the few justices who knows practically everybody in our building. He knows their name, he knows the things about their life, what their family is suffering. He’ll tell me, you know that person’s wife is sick right now, or that person’s child is having difficulty.

“There’s no other justice who does that. I try, but he does it better. He cares about people. Now, he cares on legal interests differently. And he sees those legal issues much differently than I do. I tell people, you know Clarence believes, just like him, because he grew up very, very poor, that everyone is capable of picking themselves up by their bootstraps. I understand that some people can’t reach their bootstraps. That’s a fundamental difference in how we view what the law can or should or does do for people. But I can appreciate him.”

None of which means he's capable of doing his job.

It’s good to hear about his redeeming qualities.

And he has been successful bootstrapper . - marrying into a wealthy family is a great way to improve your life.

and fraudulently ripping off one's customers, employees, banks, lawyers and voters helps build that wealth ever so nicely.

Lifetime appointments were shorter when we had shorter lifespans. Life expectancy is dropping now, but limiting appointed terms could still get some support if some justice becomes obviously senile. I lean towards repeal of existing term limits for state legislatures, since they are reelected at frequent intervals. If voters want one candidate in office for decades, then that's the voters' decision.

I agree jaF0! Graham had no business making that call to Georgia. His committee responsibilities have nothing to do with his inquiries in that situation. Thomas is going to bring the integrity of The Supreme Court deeper into the mud if they don't get rid of him pronto.

Yes, time for Thomas to be retired. As for Graham, he has betrayed his oath of office and supported sedition against the governmental system he pledged to uphold. Indictment, prosecution, and imprisonment for sedition.

Dump him!!!!

Clarence Thomas Slammed After Freezing Lindsey Graham Testimony: 'Disgrace'

Thomas' Monday decision prompted a new wave of calls for his impeachment from the Supreme Court.

i was wondering how he was able to do this legally, but he has the 'jurisdiction to oversee emergency matters' from Georgia

The move from Thomas, who did not refer the case to the full bench and acted alone in the decision, prompted calls for his impeachment and accusations that the top judge was acting anti-democratically.

"Hard to overstate how antidemocratic and delegitimizing this move is. The husband of a key insurrectionist blocks the testimony of a key witness in an election interference probe," activist Max Berger tweeted on Monday
