if it's too personal, specify a continent. :)

it's just that i don't seem to run into many australians, and i'm really quite curious about who's from where around here.

sarcasm first:

States. New England. Been to New Zealand but never Oz. Drank Bundaberg.

I'm from the middle of a cornfield in American's heartland. No hills, lots of barns. Miss it.

The UK. England, to be more precise. The South of England to narrow it down even more.

Oh, and we're having a meet up here at the beginning of May. :) Not that that's any use to you. :( There are a few Aussies on the AH, though!

I emerged into this world in the summer of 1963BC, on a rocky atoll in the South Pacific that we called Gggorrofk. (That is as close is your language will allow me to write it. The actual pronunciation would probably hurt your throat.) It is unnamed on the charts even today. It was near Hoorkomfk, (again the language) the home of The Council Of Wyrms. My grandsire represented the Amethyst Dragons on the council. I stayed there for a little over 120 years. My grandsire then sat me down for a "heart to heart" He told me that he was proud of the way I had matured and had become an excellent fish hunter and flyer. He told me I was as fierce a warrior as any, but I lacked discipline and direction. I must admit, I was a bit rash back then.

He advised me to journey to kahgggrrolofk (now known as Japan)to study under Ame-no-Oshihomimi-no-Mikoto, his oldest and closest ally. I spent the next 1200 years in the Far East. During this time my parents were caught in an electrical storm. Before they could find cover My Dam was struck down. My Sire dove to catch her and was himself struck by another bolt. It is believed that the lightning merely stunned them, unable to halt their rapid descent they crashed into the sea on a coral reef. The impact killed them. It was nearly fifty years before I learned of their fate.

Mikoto, meanwhile had taught me well, and gave me a measure of prudence and control. I shall forever be in his debt.

But I digress.

Today I make my lair in a vast cave whose only entraces are from below the waters of Loch Ness and the North Seas

Toronto. That's a city in Canada. On the North shore of Lake Ontario.

Welcome to the AH, bg23
