I'm KID ROCK1 and I came to this board cuz a "buddy" of mine TF thought he could cause trouble between me and my girlfriend by me posting here cuz I have a very flirtacious personality and TF thought I would be hitting on every girl that posts here but I proved him wrong and acted like a complete asshole cuz I knew what he was up to...

I hope that explains things a bit and I don't know how much i'll be posting here anymore but I did have fun with the few topics I started...

Playing "The Game" ... [?]

Hi KidRock1,

Saw the Michael Douglas film "The Game" last night on TV. To severely paraphrase the storyline: Unsympathetic character is surprised when a 'game' he involves himself in gets increasingly out of control. Things go from bad to worse, only for us to find an 'ending' which reveals everything is in fact sweetness and light: all of the high drama along the way was no more than a series of elaborate set-ups. At the end of the film there is even the possibility that the main character might even 'get the girl'. I thought that after the relatively short journey the story had taken me on, the finale was a bit weak, a sell-out even. I'm certainly not saying I wanted the main character to meet a grisly end, but I don't think his dramatic turnaround (and how this was achieved) rendered him deserving of our sympathies.

Will there be a sequel? Apparently not. Will the film be shown again? Probably. If I've nothing better to do, I might even watch it all again in case I missed something this time round ...

"I" am the girlfriend and while he may have been a little obnoxious, it was not meant to hurt anyone's feelings.

TF did try to set him up because of me. TF can't handle the fact that I can see right through him for the trouble maker he is. All he has ever done is try and split us up, but hey..2 years later and still going strong!

KR...thanks you baby for posting this..you didn't have to, but I love you for it.

TF...you lose again.
