LoL..actually....

Hey I'm good. I really did just strip and put on some grubby clothes...ripped jeans and an old long sleeved t-shirt I don't mind ruining. My daughter told me I looked like I meant business. Works for me.

I'll be waiting :)

Really, good luck with the stripping. Nasty job sometimes!

The last time I stripped wallpaper resembled a Marx Brothers' movie.

So sure. Were I there, I'd be in - as long as there was iced tea and music!

Good luck with the wallpaper Caly!
When we moved into this house and after we decided to buy it (we rented it first) there was this HIDEOUS wallpaper and border that I couldn't wait to remove. It was so gross and I don't think anyone has ever stripped anything as fast as I did that stuff!
:D

Do you have one of those 'tiger' things that you roll across to score the paper before spraying remover on it?? It was a Godsend to me to have one. Made the job so much easier.

The paper is I believe the original paper for the house. It is awful. I have to get one layer off before scoring it.

I've had many years experience stripping. Momma is a decorator. I've had to strip many many times.

I just hate the clean up. I don't mind peeling off the layers. ;)

And JMJ...I've got Clapton on and I'm belting out the Blues to Kitte on the phone while I work, finish assignments, play and make lunch...I love multitasking.

LOL

That thread title tricked me as well.
I wish I was closer to you as I don't mind that job either. Spray bottle with the strip mixture in it and spraying it on the wall and you... he he he

LICK

Lance's Improvement Consultancy Klinic would be happy to help you in this project, Caly.

First, the room needs to be very very warm. This will help facilitate the stripping.

Starting out with the loose longsleeve t-shirt and baggy sweats is fine, as you'll get warm in those very quickly.

Beads of sweat will form between your breasts and race over your nipples, splashing down your torso, we predict here at LICK.

But before we deal with the subject of you getting sweaty and wet with salty drops all over your skin...

We should send the kids to an all day & nite cartoon festival at Camp Outtasight. It'll be fun for them and they won't be affected by the heat and sweat and hearing mummy grunting and screaming as the stripping gets heavy.

Okay. Now that the place is very very hot, the kids are gone and you are sweaty sweaty sweaty, you obviously need a thirst-quencher. Parched lips and a dry mouth can be avoided by the ingestion of the right liquids and the application of lubricating & moisturizing balms and at LICK we recommend on ly the richest, creamiest all natural emollients and thirst quenchers for these tasks.

While you're drinking, we'll cut you out of those clothes, stat! Your skin is getting too hot for clothes and needs the attention that only the finest in home services as provided by LICK can give you where you really need them. At LICK, we stand behind and really get deeply into our work and hope you are prepared to bend over backwards for a good LICK-ing.

In fact, we have noted that your surfaces as presented have three centers identified as being warmer and wetter than other parts of said stripped surfaces.

These will require LICKing and probing, the sort of intense probing that really requires immobilization and deep deep heat.

I think I have some rope...er "immobilizing agents" in the LICK-mobile....I'll be back....

But what about music? I have to have some bass vibrating against my skin as I'm stripping. Deep thumping sounds making even the walls tremble. ;)

I've been switching between Wild Orchid and 9 1/2 weeks. I just listened to Joe Cocker You Can Leave Your Hat On. The scene in the film plays over and over as I'm squatting and then extending my arms up over my head, reaching as high as I can go with my breasts rising straining against the fabric of the old tshirt. Though I'm now in shorts because it has indeed gotten hot in here.

I dropped the putty knife I'm using and ooh lookit that I've got to bend at the waist to pick it up sliding my hands along my legs as I arch up again. I'm liking this song a great deal.

However if you have any suggestions...feel free to mix me.

Wallpaper:

Sucks to put it up
Sucks to pull it down
Can't fix it up.

Paint all the way.

And now I can blast my music too! That Camp Outtasight is way outta sight! :D

If that's a euphemism, then I'm a mixmaster.

In fact, the LICK ChromoSelector chart allows for up to 8,000,000 colors. We recommend "Hot Cream" for the bedroom, "Wet Pink" in the bathroom, "Ridge Red" for the kitchen and "Veiny Turgid Trouser Monster Blue" for the living room.

Hmm...I think all those colors are purrrrfect...but I was hoping for "WisDom Explosion" for the bedroom room...is a richer creamier color I've been told and goes on much thicker.

But what color should I paint the pantry? It is deep and narrow but can store big things in it.

Grass Stain Green, or Rug Burn Red could be interesting in a tight space such as that.

LMAO...hmm. I will be having fun decorating this place I think.

Now I'm really stripping and slipping into a hot steamy shower before heading off to class in an hour...all that time to spend with water pour over me hot and wet. Thank gawd for pulsating showerheads. ;)
