It's 11:16am and I'm still really sleepy. Went to sleep at 4am and was woken up at 8am by the darn drilling sounds outside. They're working in the street and their drill is LOUD and obnoxious. I so just want to pop my head out the window and tell them to stop...

Hey, whatever works as long as they stop the noise. Of course they are right outside my window...

Throw things at them?

LadyGuinivere ~ That's not a bad idea... *looks out the window*
Eh, they're kinda big men. They look strong and I'm only 5'4.
:(

Sigh, back to the earplugs I guess.

Offer them a cuppa!!

Hell, even British Rail stops for tea breaks, at least in Scotland they do ;)

Pity it's so bright and sunny this morning, normally the buggers can't be seen when it's raining!

But they can still be HEARD. The drill I mean, not them. Now if they had been around their mid-/late-20s that would be another matter. Then I'd take up Lady G's suggestion and invite them up for a cuppa. Hopefully they'd still get some drilling done and it'd be them that's heard... ;)

Ah well, guess it's back to the ear plugs or a bucket of water!

Or put on a blindfold and imagine they are in their twenties!:D
