"I'm So Sorry . . ."

Fry that useless son of a bitch! Wait, I'm sorry I don't mean to bring his mother into it.. he probably would kill her too in an instant....

I wouldn't go that far, but I followed this story from the moment it broke out.

Never believed his explanation for a moment.

Honestly he deserves to die IMO I've been sort of following this and I'm just sick that he's even alive.

That was my thought, too... :(

In this, I'm glad that most children do not retain complete memory of what they witness at such an early age. I've no doubt that the child will be scarred, but I find some small comfort in the idea that he won't remember the particular visual details of what he witnessed. At least, I hope he won't. My earliest memory is from when I was three. And even that is hazy.

But the fact that the child was present when at least some of the violence happened makes me loathe the man even more. I cannot imagine a person on the planet who would clinically think, 'ah, he'll never remember this when he's older,' then go about the grisly task of wrapping up a dead body in a rug.

Bobby Cutts went nine days letting his girlfriend's parents lament the loss of their daughter and grandchild before he finally lead investigators to her body. Nine days. That's either incredible selfishness on his part, or excessive cruelty.

The only reason he was crying and begging for forgiveness was because A) his lawyer told him to do so, and B) because he recognized that, one way or another, his life is over.

Better to just kill him now and be done with it. Let him disappear for all and for good.

Don't know the story, but I've seen the type - the tears aren't for anyone other than himself. The reomorse is because he's sorry he got caught, not sorry for the act.

From what I've read of the case, the world would be an infinitely better place without him.

 That poor baby boy. And I must admit i have no sympathy at all for that man and maybe life in prison would be better. I'm sure there would be several people willing to pay him back for what hes done for the rest of his life over and over again! (yeah today I'm cold as steel and not a thing I can do about it)

Life in prison means that my tax dollars will be feeding & clothing him while Bubba ass rapes him. It's not worth it to me when that money could go toward feeding & clothing a homeless child.

can we beat him up and then fry him then? Just seems he should get a little of both. Then again I did say that was my rage talking today;) It needs to be brought under control quickly.

Gool ol' fashioned hate and bloodthirst wins. Woot.

Doesn't it cost more to execute, though?

I read that the money for the countless appeals and actual execution is actually more expensive than feeding and clothing. As long as he never gets out of prison is fine with me.

The child - wasn't he left alone a day and a half before anyone found him? Not only was his mother murdered in front of him but then the man left him alone.

He has no soul.

His piety is an example to us all.

I vote for the Middle Age practice of walled up incarceration in the church of his choice, seems ideal if he wants forgiveness.

I suppose that depends on the length of his life in prison and the number of appeals (which, I might add, often take place even if "merely" imprisoned). I can't imagine the actual execution really costing all that much: syringe (need not be sterile), drug, cremation.

Yes, I was thinking more about the appeal after appeal after appeal process.

Yes!! This is the thing that haunts me. Yes, it was horrible what he did to the woman, but she was already dead. That poor little boy though. I keep thinking of my own child left alone in a house for two days.

Then, all those people searching. Hundreds of them. Maybe even thousands. I don't know. This guy left that baby alone in the house and let all those people search for days.

The execution doesn't cost all that much, and is money well-spent. What does cost a lot is the interminable appeals that state-appointed shysters will put everybody through for the next twenty years or more. His guilt was extremely obvious, and I can't see any extnuating circumstances. Even so, the shysters and their staffs will go over the trial transcripts, and if they notice that somebody farted, they will appeal because of that. It has no relevance, but the courts will listen to the appeal and rule against the shysters, and delay justice a year or more. They will continue making a career out of the one case. His chances of dying of old age are greater than his chances of actually being executed.

I'm not saying we should rush to judgement, and any evidence of innocence should be examined, but the grounds for appeals are usually something that have already been considered or are not relevant.

There's a nice warm place in hell for people who hurt children. I couldn't stomach reading much of the article past the part where it said he "accidentally struck his pregnant girlfriend in the throat with his elbow during a disagreement." Sorry, at no point should you hit a pregnant woman. Case closed. Fry him til he's good and toasty.

You're not implying we should feel sympathetic for the dude are you?

Now on to Drew Peterson.

What's up with X-Cops killing their wives?

Police work attracts two kinds of people: the kind who believe in law and order and justice and work hard for it or the kind who like to feel big and important and want to treat others like dirt. The latter kind is the kind who will kill a wife, girlfriend, whatever. Any position of authority will attract a certain percentage of sociopaths and other sickos.

The crappy part is that rotten apples like these guys ruin people's respect for good cops, too.
