As you know I pretty much live in a room.
And for a long time, I've noticed this room is hot. It's especially bad in the summer. For example, it was about 30 Celsius here in Toronto yesterday. In my room it felt a lot warmer than that.
My housing worker left a flyer on how to handle high temperatures at the house. I finally got around to reading it. One of the suggestions was replace your incandescent bulbs with compact flourescents.

So I did. The temperature in my room is now about the same temperature as outside. I like the quality of the light better as well.
Sigh. I'm slow about somethings.
