You're on sunshine. Just what do you want me to put up? Macbeth_SnuggleBunny_Orlanth when you change your name, you change everything. It's the only thing people have to recognise you by and know you in an ongoing way. Changing names fucks with the dynamics and protocols of a BB society and I don't like it.

Aparently not, but then I never asked your approval for my opinions, so go piss in someone elses thread. Take your magical invincibility and go play in the RP forum if you must.

The problem I have with name changes is quite eloquently illustrated in the confusion above.

I'm not telling anyone they should change names back or not change them in the first place, that's your own decisions. I think it's not good for the board. Anyone who has a problem with me having an opionion can take a long walk off a short pier for all I care.

I changed my name because I am sick off people thinking I am a woman, so I changed it. (Don't you dare start Cheyanne).

I had the same Title, but tonight with my new AV, 'Snuggle Bunny' Don't fit, so I changed it. It means the same thing, just the first letters.

Most of of you who talk to me on the BB, call me SB. SB is still in my title and sig line.

Juspar, man, I really don't want to have a bad 'thing' with you. Heck you're a cool guy, and I like your posts. But please don't drag this on. I don't have enough strangth to put up with something as stupid as complaints over a name change.

Sorry, you're not getting off that easy without me saying "I told you so."

I have less problem with the name change when people announce them and why they are doing them than I do when the name changes and I'm unaware I'm talking to someone I may have a history with. The first is a change of mind/personality/whatever. The second feels more like deception.

p.s. I'm glad to see the Snuggle Bunny name gone. I never liked it, as you know.

Changing names is to be expected. Bad grammar in the title of a thread is just stupid.

Don't take it personal though - you may have been the catalyst, but it's not really about you. Just a general observation on the way BB communities work. In RL it's not such a problem, because the 'lable' consists of not just a name, but the image of a person, the sound of thier voice, even their smell. Change one and the others stay the same, and we still get continuity. Here, the name is about it for a label, unless you keep the same Av or something I suppose.

Cheyenne. I expected your "I told you so." I also knew that with that, there would be an argument, such as in this thread. I did not want to be in a argument.
Another reason for not telling any one, is that I never expected any one to notice that Snuggle Bunny was gonwe. And as much as people ignored me with that name on the General board, I didn't expect it to change with a name change.
Also, one of the main reasons I did not post a thread informing the BB of the change is, because I did not want people to annoy Laurel with asking her to change their names.
I don't act any diffrent now as when I was Snuggle Bunny, I am the same person, the same personality.

Now the "Snuggle Bunny" is gone, Cheyenne, any chance of a truth between us? And I even go as far as asking for a friendship?

Ok, I am sorry I spellet Cheyenne wrong, and make both spelling and grammer mistakes, but nobody is perfect. And heck it is 12:48am here and I am half asleep. So why don't you, as Juspar says it best, take a long walk off a sort pier!

It only works to change the title in the first 2 minutes after it's posted. After that, it only changes it in the actual thread.
