Look, I just started posting here at Literotica.com and I am feeling rather insecure about it. I don't know what people think of my writings (I have recieved 3 comments, one of which was my own). If anyone would take a look at it and drop me a response, I'd appreciate it.

By the way, what's with the editors changing dialogue syntax incorrectly? Any time the dialogue changes from person to person, it's supposed to break into a new paragraph. However the editors just clumped mine all into one. WTF?

How did you submit it? If you use Weird Harold's HTML testing file, and insert all your own <cr>'s, then you will know exactly how it will look when it gets released. And how it will look to all the readers who read it. If you use volunteer editors, it's up to YOU to be sure you are satisfied with it before submitting. If it is not correct, change it to make the formatting suit you.

I'm interested in cars and drop dead gorgeous blondes, like many people, so I might read it sometime.
One glaring problem I saw right away is to be continued...
People want to see a complete story, not a partial one. The comments all said something to that affect. So, please finish it and I'll read it. I hope you take this as constructive criticism and keep writing. What I saw looked good, but I am not in a mood to read a half story right now.

Just read your story. It didn't do much for me, mainly because I couldn't see where it's supposed to go (if anywhere). Though the writing itself is quite good, the story seemed to just ramble along. I did get the sense that the main character wants to make changes to his life (job, car), but there wasn't anything compelling to grab my interest and make me want to read further. You have some very good thoughts and musings interspersed throughout, but I think it would help if you were to develop the plot and the characters a bit further.

I actually wrote my HTML from scratch and I did preview the writing (at the time, it was correct). I am assuming that when they approved the story, they changed the syntax.

As for it being a half-story, it's not. It's more in chapters, than anything else. I'll be honest, I plan on making this story about 16-20 parts. There will be more plot and character development then. But I wanna take it slow, because if I tried to write it all out at once, I would get bored and so would the reader.

panic not

There are several thousand potential readers of your story! Some will be dleighted with your contributions, others will not :( Im relatively new to this too, and found that the category you choose (to place your story) may well detrmine the type of comments recieved. I have had both good and bad, and chose a public board. I leave most comments there, but have excercised discretion in erasing those that are just crude and rude (even if my stories contain a similar theme).

best wishes with your submissions......quillman
