A request to contact me via my e-mail address and explain to me - in what I'd call, "posting images for stupid dummies speak," the step by step - fool proof (cause I'm a fool) - button by button, keystroke by keystroke - way to post pics on threads and responces.

At this point I don't know if I must get permission from Laurel or what.

The reason being is I'd like to take a digi-pic, on the street, daily on my walk in to work and post it with my good morning post. I thought many might be interested.....

So - again - please.

Remember - I haven't figured out how to "cut, attach and highlite," quotes yet. And these variances on jumping around and waving smiley faces - well - that must be info from another world for me.

I the great words of wisdom via Homer Simpson, "I'm an idiot."

Thank you KE....

Enjoy all the sights, sounds and smells of little girls (for some reason I can only aid in birthing boys, but I have, let's see, 8 nieces from 4 to 13) baking brownies.

Us guys? We like to cook chili - football, fall leaves, a fire in the fireplace and chili in big bowls w/big spoons - on our laps. Switchin' between the Redskin's and Full Metal Jacket.

Ahhhhhh.... smell the testosterone.

Anytime, dah-lin.

Btw, I make a fantastic chili, love to jump in a pile of leaves, and watch football too (mostly to watch the Skins get clobbered).

The smell of testosterone isn't that bad (assuming it doesn't need a shower). I like the way most men smell, very primal and earthy.

Didn't much care for Full Metal Jacket though...

That Kubrick movie is a bit rough for most...

I often wonder what "inexperienced viewers" think of it - if it it's a realistic portrayal. I happened to have gone through Marine Boot at nearly the exact time Kubrick portrays. Believe it or not - it's quite a bit less harsh than my reality was - but very, very accurate none the less. In fact the movie is very real up until the prive-in-question (the nut case Pyle) gets those live rounds - that most likely could not happen. The Armor's are pretty tight with that shit. I even went through 3rd Battalion - like Joker and his crowd. I identify with Joker a lot - a writer - and 1st squad leader too. I'm even lanky like him. And I definitely like Joker in attitude. I would suggest to all young men - thinking of going into the Corps to watch and pay attention to the first half of that movie. It's much easier now days but it does give you an accurate sense of Marine training.
