I do too, and a bubble bath to read it in, lit by candlelight and whilst imbibing a glass of wine. (Late at night... sheer bliss)

I recieve rewards in giving them.

I feel blessed to have friends. I recieve my own reward when I send others messages. If it's someone I've met online. Knowing that I had a positive effect by sending them an email is rewarding for me. I also like to send ecards, and little jokes to just say I'm thinking of you. You never know when I'll send them, but I try to let others know I'm thinking of them.

I like the same feelings that I get when I call, or see someone that I haven't spoken to in awhile. The way they light up when they hear your voice, or see you in person is priceless. Friendships are very important to me, and I know what a treasure people are. I'm fortunate to have friends. So I try maintain the ones that I have.

( Sometimes I'll go to a movie or get a cd. )

What do I do to reward myself?

I put a day aside where I can do whatever it is that I want to do. Take a long hot bath with candles, incense, oils. Laze around in bed reading a book. Shop w/o kids. Visit friends. Watch an old movie. Enjoy a football game (can't watch when kids are around, mommy has a potty mouth during the games). I eat what I want when I want where I want.

I love having days like this.

On those nights where i'm being selfish and I really want to reward myself (doesn't happen as often as i'd like) I let myself open up one of those bottles of wine that i've been saving for a holiday or company or whatever. Nothing tastes better than a great glass of wine knowing you have the ability to refill it when it's empty and don't have to give the last glass to someone else.
