...and still no baby.


Went in to the doc's today, and he said I was thinned out 70%, still only at a 1. This one is being more stubborn then the last two, but got started earlier. He also said that had I been thinned out to at least 85%, he would have induced me today to save me the headache of trying to have a baby on Christmas. But, the thinning out process goes painfully during an inducment, and you can't get drugs during it. Soo... even though I said I could live with a little pain, it was a no go.


This darn kid had beeter be a very good baby for all this trouble.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you, Gilly. Both of mine were induced and that bit sucked.

My first was 2 weeks past due and my second would have been done on Thanksgiving if I hadn't been so adament that I wasn't spending the holiday in the hospital. Instead, I got out the day before Thanksgiving. Next time I have one, I better get to go into labor the normal way.

I SO wanted to be induced today, too!

To bad he won't until I am thinned out more. Although, I have talked toa few people, and it's painful. Forcing the cervix to thin and open is horrid from all accounts, and I can't have drugs till I am at a 4 or 5, or it will slow it down, and maybe even counteract the pitocin. So.... back to the waiting game.
