We put out a little zine of our own of which this was the logo.

The idea was that we were taking potshots with a David-style sling at various Goliaths...

For a poster. The inservice series at the hospital was covering syncopal episodes.

Simple fainting, that is. It made me think of the dictum of the drill sergeant: "Don't lock yer knees, you'll pass out."

RAVE-R M-ALICE

An initial character design illustration for what I hope will evolve into another Illustrated Story for Literotica.

If she looks a little generic, that is intentional, since she is meant to be the kind of heroine that has become common in anime and some North American animation. I'm generally happy with how this particular image came out. The method of shading is not typical of me, but I think it somehow works. The rings around her wrists are meant to be a holographic computer interface that can change shape, and responds to commands by the motions of her fingers.

Isn't it awful?

He really packed up and left in a definitive way. The only clue (clew?) is this thread in the Author's board.

He wiped that clean, too.

McKenna has gone to Alaska, as far as I know, to Denali. So we cannot ask and get a response unless she checks in from a café someplace.

I've left her a PM without reply.

This is so sad.

I think I missed something, what's going on with rhino? everythings all cleaned out?

I loved the man. He was so shy and yet so open about what he did. His work was smooth and sensitive, evocative , simple, real. McKenna seemed to know what the story was on the Empress thread. She said "Nobody was getting it." and he said "...to say more would be hurtful." But it was a very cryptic set of exchanges.

I hope we haven't driven him off somehow, but it all looks so final.

Me too! I think he has a lot of people here who care about him, even if he didn't know it or always get the response he wanted. I think more people will miss him than he realizes.

Maybe he will return someday? I hope.
:(

Rhino posted a lot of good work. I wish he left it for future enjoyment.
