First submission for t-shirt

They didn't want the human being in there, they said, so I had to re-do with a fox in her stead.

This was really cute. :)

Here's that fox I did to take the place of that amazing little girl in the hat.

It is not easy to have a fox cross his legs and look relaxed about it.

I still prefer the girl.

This is more mannered and serious.

I thought of her as thirtyish

I actually thought of her as a particular woman I knew, but...

:) yeah

I dug it. The event at the store was to promote reading to one's children. And the children of others, for that matter! The t-shirt was pink, though, in the end. Sold pretty well. They had me do this, re-do it with the fox, and then paid me ten frickin dollars. It's one of the resentments that led me to depart the place.

I love the little girl with the straw hat and those toes waving.

Something new to work with. Yes, it looks like crap right now, just wait til I get working on it in photoshop,,hehehe....

Heck, some of the erotic work is non-erotic, if you ask me. I'd like to see more artwork on the site generally. Of any stripe.

Well, I don't have any examples of the old pencil-and-paper type artwork. I'll have to scan some in at some point in time..

But here's a few 3D pieces I did...

This was for a friend of mine.. Just a girl and her dog.

This one's unfinished. Unfortunately, I lost the object file for it, so if I wanted to ever finish it, I'd have to start from scratch. I love the interplay of shadows in this one.

I hope the last two came through okay. Lit was being weird..

I'm trying to dig out my crucifixion picture - I don't know if anyone remembered, but during the discussion that we had when Mel Gibson released that movie, I had said that I thought that cricifixes (pictures of and statues of) should represent every sinew-stretching moment of agony. Crucifixion bloody hurt, and it should damn well look like it, IMO. Christ didn't lay there all beatific and peaceful when they hamered those nails in. He threw back his head and tore his own vocals chords out trying to scream, and if we forget exactly how fucking painful crucifixion is, I think it lessens the sacrifice.

Sooooo, with that said, I'm going to go and try find the picture :)

Hmm..

Well, this is it, but it's bad copy of it. I don't have a scanner here, so this is the original pencil sketch that I took a picture of with my digital camera and it didn't come out very well...

Sorry folks..

Raphy, that is fabulous!!!!!!!!
Thanks Abs - One of the career paths that was open to me when I was in college was 3-d illustrator and I did once have vague notions about getting a job as a graphics programmer for computer games, but I never followed it up.

(I also did a bunch of work on graphic novels. I'll have to try and find that work if I can for y'all)

It's sort of creepy when you think about it as being a symbol of relligion. The torture of a man suffering the most agonizing death.

The highest irony, perhaps....

I agree, though.

Super. I am humbled.
