I got my scanner when there was a great rebate deal going on, you can even get one second hand or just check sales adds or clearance racks.

I love my scanner and it makes it easier to get your original stuff out there.

Neglecting myself? Nah, I've only been putting everyone else ahead of me for 5 years. Once inawhile I get something for myself, but not too often. (Hell, when my car went down, it took 3 weeks to fix) But good news on the scanner front, a lady at work has a spare, and she is going to pass it my way, free o' charge. 2nd hand is fine by me, all I have to do is surf the net for a driver. So, if all goes well, this weekend I should be posting some new stuff (yippie), so then I don't have to be a just a voice with nothing to contribute.

Ok, now that I'm out of breath, off to lurk around.

Here's a question for the artisians, how many use models verses your imagination for your figures? For modelling, do you have a person pose for awhile, or do you photograph them?

Not sure how I missed the last two pages here, since I poste on one of Abs' works but I just saw them.

My faves were 05 braced, welcome home , and today's seated man. Very nice.

it's free to register and they used to have most drivers that anyone would need.

I've also managed to take some reasonable pics of artwork using my webcam - not great, but it is another useful tool if the scanner doesn't come up to scratch.

I hope everyone had a good Easter. Hard to believe it was a week ago - time flies.

Rhino I've been fiddling with a completely new angle on the story with a pic and so far it looks like it might work. I'm managing to add in some features I've learned from the course I'm doing at the moment, so I'm praying it'll be worthy of your art. I'll send it to you when I'm done.
