A Ginko biloba.
Ancient and wise beneath a seemingly youthful exterior, unsurpassingly gorgeous in my fall finery, bare and naked to the world in the cold of winter, and offering dappled shade via interestingly shaped leaves through the spring and summer.
Makes you want to put your finger beside your head and go "Hmmmmmm"
But I decided on a Silver Maple.
Nice canopy of leaves, not the prettiest tree but still ok to look at and as the sun and wind move the leaves, you see another look you didn't see the first time you glanced that way.
i'd have to say a willow as well......had a huge one in the front lawn as a kid........we all used to play under it.........the branches hung so low to the ground it was like our very own fort.......ahhhhhhhhhh those were the days.........
