Where do you think you will find it? Do you think it will just drop on your lap? What are you doing now, tomorrow or the next day to get where you want to be? Do you have a plan? What's your time frame for accomplishing it?

Here's a simple breakdown:

"I am hungry. I need food. I must get food. I must get in my car and drive to find food. When I find food I must buy food. I then drive back home to prepare food. I eat food and I'm no longer hungry"

Try appyling that simple breakdown to the other things you want. Each goal has steps. Just figure out in what order they need to occur and then knock off each one. Take each step one at a time.

What happens when you've accomplished all you thought you'd want to do?

I have a plan, but when Mr. Instant Gratification meets Mr. Procrastination, well, let's just say i'm trying to figure that one out.

Need to get laid

1. Go out
2. Have drinks.
3. Get Silly and flirty.
4. Find guy.
5. Woo said guy.
6. Take guy home.
7. Hope he is not to drunk.
8. Have, wild, crazy sex.
9. Kick guy out.
10. Sleep in late.
11. Get up and make waffles.

I'd say you're very lucky.

I should have finished my though, HH, but I got distracted.

I meant to say - when you've done what you thought you wanted to do and still feel - unfulfilled.

Then what. New goals, I suppose.

The answer is in your question. You "thought you'd want to do".
You have no desires now?

I can run 8 miles at a 7 minute pace. I can bench press 100 times my body weight. Those are accomplishments. They may make me happy and they do. But it is in the act of doing these things that I'm happy. They didn't just happen. I had to take steps to get there to make them happen. And it wasn't always easy. The gratification I get from being able to do these things, didn't end when I achieved them. It continues.

I suppose I do - I just can't define them now. It would take too much energy.

Ahh...I see now. Yeah, I'd say new goals. I'm very much like that though, never completely satisfied. But, to me, I think thats what life should be about...constantly wanting, desiring more. I mean, once you stop aiming for something...I think life could become rather dull. We all need goals- something to focus on. The journey to reaching them is always the funnest part.

Sure we all need a plan and we all want to reach those goals and when we get there what do we do? Look what I have done I feel so good, but the real test and gratification is not the end but the journey getting there most times (almost all the times for me) the trip turns a and you end up some where you didn't expect and you still look back and are happy at what you have accomplished.

Looks just like my original list. All except the parts from number 2-10.;)

Sometimes you do "get there" and sometimes you just kind of get there. But you have to at least try to get there. Enjoy every moment of that ride but when you do get there, enjoy every second of every minute of every day, you're there. You never know what second, what minute, what day, might be your last.

So very very true!
