I had seen the http://www.miniatur-wunderland.com/ website a couple of years ago and had forgotten about it. The model train layout is truly spectacular— I'd consider it one of the seven wonders of the world.


The next time I get to Hamburg, I'll make a point of seeing it in the flesh. When that day comes, they'll have to throw me out at closing time.


These amazing model train layouts always have the effect of making mere mortal modelers shake our heads in astonishment.
