are there any scenes of someone getting shot in the head?

I know, bizzare question. I rented it to watch tonight, but my wife is very sensitive to these particular scenes. Her dad commited suicide via a .45 to the head, so mental replays are rather disturbing. I try to pre-screen movies for her, but this is one movie I don't know enough about. I do know it is rather intense, but only headshots are a problem.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Yes. The first American to get killed gets shot in the head, and you don't really see it coming. It's quick and you don't see much of the actual shot, but the aftermath is graphic.

There are a couple more in the movie - you might want to watch it first and be ready to prepare her.

It's a very intense movie, btw. Gunfight action from about 30 minutes in until the end.

I haven't seen the movie but I have read the book. I assume that is the same part in the book where a private(?) I think it shot in the head while traveling in the back of a hummer. The description of the actual shot in the book is very graphic and so is the gory aftermath of the shot. Describes blood coating the back of the hummer and how slick it makes everything and such. Probably not something she wants to see.

Thanks, guys. My wife has decided I can watch the movie tomorrow while she is at work.

I bought it...

Thw wife bought it for me when it came out on dvd.

It is very graphic...... I thought the movie was great but it was the sort of movie that made me outraged!!! I mean I recall when it happened and couldn't belive it back then.
What a shame, talk about something that should have never happened.............

But it is a good flick.
