Sometimes I get down on myself ( I did not say go down on myself! ) I think of the things I should have done or could have done.

I always wanted to get a degree in forestry but have not done it yet... I want to hike the appalachian trail one of these days. There is that motorcycle trip to Alaska waiting to be done...

There are many things that could have been....and some that might be yet...

Do we control our destinies?

Gack, tough questions at 1:30 am.

I do believe we control our destinies to a degree, simply by what we do with what we have. I also believe people can choose to change themselves.

I empathize, I have always wanted a degree in Industrial Psychology. Come hell or high water, I intend to start next fall.

if you do go down on yourself, can I watch?

OH KITTEN EYES>>>>

I am not that flexile but I am sure we could come to some compromise!!!!!!!!!!!

I've always had a thing for lilacs in Colorado. That high altitude air is something.

<<<<<<<<<<Kitten are you real????????

I lived in Colorado for a year and spent every minute I could in the mountains..... SIGH!!!!!!!!!!

You are right, there is something about thre rarified air out there......

Stationed in Denver for a bit, skied at Estes Park. Ok, fell down a lot at Estes Park is more like it. You mention NC a lot too. I lived there for two years. Love it, miss it, and am going back someday.

OK KITTEN you are scaring me now!!!!!!

Estes Park is one of my favorite places.... I used to winter camp in Rocky Mountain National Park....Used to xcountry skii there a lot.... a few times with the elk and coyotes.......( wanna chat?) lol

... I want to hike the appalachian trail one of these days.

You really owe it to yourself to do at least part of THE trail ( is there REALLY any other ???),,, I have managed to do to all of VA and part of NC over the years by doing it in weekend sets,,, I just couldn't justify the time to complete the entire trail in one summer long outing,,, in addition to the scenery and solitude, some of the greatest folks are to be met on the trail too.
